How Uduaghan Saved Life Aboard Flight Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan weekend averted what would have been a fatal incident aboard a Singapore Airline flight SQ318 from Singapore to London when he came to the rescue of a woman who took ill on the flight. The woman, Mrs. Kafle, who is a 50 year-old Nepali citizen, was said to have developed severe medical complications seven hours into the flight. Uduaghan, according to a witness on the said flight, quickly deployed his medical expertise when the woman went into coma and succeeded in reviving her. It was learnt that because of the incident the flight was diverted to Baku in Kazerstan to enable the woman get comprehensive medical attention. But before the plane landed in Baku, Uduaghan was said to have stabilised the woman to the admiration and appreciation of other passengers and the entire crew. |
